At its meeting held in 1992, UN decided to declare 22(nd) March as the World Water Day.

 

All life on Earth depends on water and it's the most precious resource we have. Although Croatia doesn't have problems with water resources, the majority of people on Earth fights water shortage every day.

 

About 2 billion people live today without basic water supplies, while the rest of the World, especially in developed areas waste 50 liters of water just to flush the toilet.

 

You can help, too. Don't leave the water running when you don't need it and use it in a rational manner.
